Canevini are the symbol of the daily history of many Garda families. Dug at the foot of the fortress, for several centuries they were the galley, the pantry for entire generations. The constant temperature guaranteed by the rock allowed food to be stored in these ravines. Casa Canevini was built above these natural cellars, which are located a few hundred meters from the town center of Garda. From the street below, 13 steps go up to the entrance, located on a small terrace overlooking the hills. You enter a beautiful eat-in kitchen (4-burner cooker, fridge, freezer, oven, microwave), with a large side fireplace and table with 6 chairs; service bathroom with washing machine, a double bedroom, a bedroom with a bunk bed; small rear courtyard with barbeque and outdoor furniture. From the kitchen, you go up the 14 steps of a beautiful wooden staircase and you enter the living room, on the large mezzanine, with two sofa beds, satellite TV and a bathroom with shower.
